Formscan By Tom Weekes - It is impossible to believe BECTIVE CAVE is improving as an 11yo but he does seem in the form of his life and came make a winning return to fences here from bottom weight. Similar to stablemate One Cool Poet, BECTIVE CAVE has done tremendously well during the summer, winning handicap hurdles in July, August and September and now reverts to fences from a 24lbs lower mark to his current 113 hurdles rating. He was well held on his latest handicap chase starts but that was before his recent winning spree, he likes a sound surface and is also a previous course winner in 2017. Everlastingpromise is a very interesting runner as an unexposed 5yo. His third placing in a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle last June (the runner-up has won since) is a useful effort and while he subsequently showed little over fences, now races from a chase rating of 98, which is 9lbs below his hurdles mark, with potential for improvement in both spheres possible. Kavanaghs Corner was a reasonably useful dual soft ground handicap chase winner in Britain and is reasonably interesting on debut for Henry De Bromhead while Athloman Cottage has been running reasonably well in similar races recently and has place claims. Indian Music wasn't beaten too far at Sligo latest but doesn't look to be ahead of the handicapper.
