Formscan By Tom Weekes - SOMETHING SWEET can defy top weight and won today, on her second start in five days. A useful sort at this level, she won a handicap hurdle here from 86 in June and while her rating has since climbed, she comes here officially 1lb well-in (and therefore out of this grade in future races) having run a cracker in a big-field handicap at Navan recently. My Galway Girl is similarly 1lb well-in having failed by just a neck to win an unplaced horses maiden hurdle six days ago. That was clearly an ordinary race but she could be progressive enough to get involved at the business end today. Tiantu has a higher chase mark than hurdles rating and while he did very well on his chase starts earlier this year, he was a little disappointing on his most recent run in a handicap hurdle at Tramore in August. He has since been given a break and if reappearing at his best chase form, would take plenty beating today. Lilly Geal seemed to progress with her latest start at Wexford last month and has obvious claims if reproducing that form today.
