Formscan By Tom Weekes - GOODTHYNEMILAN might be able to win this despite slight reservations around today's trip. She has done well in recent times and while she was fifth from her lower hurdles rating (and under a 7lbs claimer) at Punchestown latest, she had previously won over hurdles here and also won her maiden chase at Punchestown, on just her second fences start. She now competes from 102 over fences and might be able to win again, with testing ground to suit. Spare Brakes must shoulder a 7lbs ratings hike for winning at Clonmel last month but also has strong claims. That was his handicap chase debut and while he is no star, might be able to continue to progress and win again from this type of rating. Luckyinmilan is a fascinating runner, given he effectively races from 12lbs out of the handicap but could still be ahead of the handicapper. His effectively competes from a mark of 102 today, which is still 18lbs below his hurdles mark and with his rider claiming a useful 5lbs, he has claims. He did fail to win from his 86 rating here latest though, which is a concern, although he does drop back in trip. Samson Bill was left clear at the second last fence when winning at Fairyhouse last month but that was a much weaker race and he could struggle under his 109 rating today. Positive Approach was well held over 2m at Gowran latest but has his chance if returning to the form he showed when an unlucky loser here in January. Doldido showed up well on chase debut at Clonmel and while he looks sure to win over fences, lacks chase experience today which is a concern.
