Formscan By Tom Weekes - The handicapper didn't miss SIR CARNO by giving him a 12lbs rise for winning a similar race here in February but he could nonetheless continue on his upward curve and win here. It has taken him a little bit of time to reach his current level of form but being a 5yo, could continue to progress and could develop into a useful type in time. Bee A Beneficiary has been competing well in handicaps recently but now steps back up in trip. She has won a point to point in the past and has her chance today from a low weight. The Gatechecker returns to action here from a lower hurdles rating than chase mark and while today's trip will suit, he might continue to prove a better chaser. Montys Meadow is proven in this grade and while his rider claims 5lbs, he still has plenty weight.
