Formscan  - Point-to-point/bumper winner RACE TO BASE lost two places after the last to finish fifth on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter and would have learned a great deal from that experience. With Sam Twiston-Davies back on board, he looks the one to beat. Beggar's Nap only found one too good in a Southwell bumper in May and has to be respected in a first-time hood. Of the rest, Lord Cauvelliere makes the most appeal.
