Formscan By Tom Weekes - WEST OF BALLY has shown promise in a point-to-point and hurdle, and now drops to a winnable maiden. Runner-up at Loughrea before selling for 26,000 pounds, he initially disappointed in a Listowel bumper in September but showed promise in a smart Galway maiden hurdle last month, when finishing in between King’s Bucks, who was subsequently placed at Grade 2-level, and topical Centreofattention. Walk In The Park-sired Butch Coolidge, out of top racemare Solerina, has been well beaten in two hurdles but notably performed well in a smart Cork bumper in August and should progress. Grey Gardens has a useful pedigree and is open to some progression, being a four-year-old.
