Formscan By Donal Murphy - BUCKERS BRIDGE ran below part in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse last time out but he is given a chance to make amends here. The Henry De Bromhead trained gelding won his first four career starts but he flopped last time out in the race won by Arvika Ligeonniere. Twinlight and Dedigout look his main dangers but the former is giving him six pounds while the latter is unproved over the trip. Twinlight has won his last three starts and with Ruby Walsh aboard he is sure to go close to making that four. He is however giving weight all around and that may put a stop to his winning run. Grade 1 winning hurdler Dedigout couldn't deal with the strong front running display by Arvika Ligeonniere in the Drinmore and poor jumping resulted in him finishing a well beaten sixth on his next start at Leopardstown over Christmas. He is unproven over the trip of 2m 1f and so the selection, who has won over 2m and 2m 2f, is preferred. Cootamundra and Prima Vista are decent horses in their own right but the aforementioned trio should prove too good for them.
