Formscan By Donal Murphy - Despite nothing being the most consistent, TOFINO BAY is given preference here over his main rival Terminal. The Dessie Hughes trained 10yo won the Troytown Chase at Navan earlier this season and he dug deep to reverse form with Aupcharlie in a Grade 2 at Naas last time out. However he did put in a disappointing effort at Cork last November, where he was struggling from early, and he was well beaten in the Grade 1 Topaz Novice Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas. Provided he is at the top of his game he will prove hard to beat. The Willie Mullins trained Terminal has had just two runs over fences, finishing second on his chasing debut and winning on his next start at Cork last month. He will need to improve from that run if he is to seriously challenge the selection but with Ruby Walsh in the saddle a good showing can be expected. Considering he won three point-to-point's, He's A Delight was a bit disappointing last time out at Limerick. He was well beaten by Sraid Padraig and that fellow hasn't done much since. He will need to improve a lot if he is to challenge here as will the Mouse Morris trained Tillahow.
