Formscan By Alan Magee - WISE OSCAR was unlucky to come up against a blot on the handicap in the shape of Bog Warrior when runner-up over 2m4f here last time. Dessie Hughes’ charge should benefit from that outing, his first in four months, and will not lack in stamina having won his maiden hurdle at Thurles over three miles. Paradis de Thaix is pretty closely matched (3lb better off for less than a three lengths beating) with the selection having finished third in that 18-runner event and, like Your Busy, has a considerably lower mark over hurdles compared to his chase rating. The extra quarter mile though may just swing it in favour of the selection. Playing overcame a long lay-off to score in good style at Clonmel but a 9lb rise seemed to find him out next time, while Liszt may ensure a strong pace having blazed a trail to score in convincing fashion at Limerick last time.
