FormscanBy Gary Carson - EIGHT CHIMES shaped really nicely on his debut behind a smart sort in Outlander at Fairyhouse and should go close now. He got the hang of things in the closing stages then and finished to good effect. That suggested he would improve from the run and he should again have the beating of Indian File who was behind him in fourth then. The form of that race looks solid with the winner impressive again since at Leopardstown and the runner-up Saffron Wells also running well there on St Stephen's Day when staying on from behind. Whinstone Dee was also third on his debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month but the form took bit of a knock with the runner-up Lady Of Glencoe well beaten since. Mad Brian returns from over a year's absence but had a couple of good placed efforts last term and could get involved while of the newcomers So Oscar makes most appeal with Patrick Mullins booked. The Oscar gelding is out of a half-sister to decent performer Chomba Womba, who was previously trained by Mags Mullins.
