Formscan By Alan Magee - It was hard to believe that Derek O’Connor had not ridden a winner over the banks until scoring on Shady Operator earlier this year and he could successfully team up again with Enda Bolger aboard YOUCANNOTBESERIOUS here. The Presenting gelding has not been seen since runner-up to stablemate Blue Templar in this race two year’s ago but, with Bolger’s unparalleled record in this sphere, he still looks the one to beat. Stable-companion Saint Benedict, a dual point-to-point winner and runner-up a number of times in hunter chases this year, tackles this discipline for the first time but is sure to be well schooled. Singing Banjo came out best, although still beaten a long way, of these that ran over course and distance behind Shady Operator in February. Mia’s Milan and Festival Opera are both in the veteran category but have plenty of experience over the banks.

Rules. Exclusions - Horses that have won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing other than a Farmers Race or races confined to Certified Hunters. ? A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2020/2021 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than April 21st, 2021, or the horse will not be qualified to start. In the case of horses from Great Britain, Hunters (Master of Hounds) Certificates must have been duly registered at the Racing Calendar Office, Wellingborough. The Stewards of the I.N.H.S. Committee have modified the Rules to permit horses for which Master of Hounds Certificates have been registered with the Jockey Club and which are eligible to run in Hunters' Steeplechases in Great Britain to run in this race. However, horses with a Master of Hounds Certificate that have run in any race other than a Hunters' Steeplechase since 1st November, 2020 are excluded
