She has two victories and two runner-up berths (both here) from her last four starts. Her half a length second to Treacysenniscorthy over course and distance this month was emphatically franked when that horse came out and landed the ultra-competitive Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) at Leopardstown on Saturday. Brawler landed a gamble in Fairyhouse where he had Avellino back in fourth. He is almost a stone higher in the weights today, though, as he has gone up 8lb for that success and doesn’t have a 5lb claimer on board. Avellino is entitled to get closer under these terms and is one for each-way players to consider. R’evelyn Pleasure has been running in good-quality steeplechases and was last seen over hurdles when unplaced at Listowel in June 2018. He is rated much lower over hurdles so, if he takes to them, would be a player.
