Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - This is a decent heat for the venue. JETSON (his trainer has expressed concerns about further rain overnight) mightn't be the biggest in the world but a reproduction of either of his efforts over fences to date would probably suffice here. Farrells Fancy beat him at Thurles last time and there seems little doubt that he faces nothing of the calibre of Terence O'Brien's runner in this. Jetson, a half-brother to Saturday's impressive Naas victor, Jezki, last competed over the minor obstacles from a rating of 136 and as such he should be too classy for these opponents. Latin Connection turned what appeared to be a competitive heat on James Nicholson Day at Down Royal, into a bit of a procession and he is much respected with chasing experience under his belt. Cloone Springs seems to be progressing with experience but he has a way to go to triumph now. Jack Bene needs to leave two chasing efforts behind him but he'd have each-way prospects at his best. Mia's Vic has to bounce back from a fall, whilst it's the same story for North Star Lad. Dont Back Down is held by Jetson on Thurles form. Royal Sam and Mr Bb (looked decent when winning a point-to-point and now tried in cheek-pieces) are outsiders but they are worth keeping an eye on with the future in mind.
