Formscan  - HORACES PEARL was unbeaten going into the Grade 1 Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree and, given he stumbled two out, his fifth-placed finish in that race was commendable. This looks a shade easier and a resumption of winning ways is a distinct possibility, with the longer trip a potential source for improvement. Dedicated Hero is another key player after securing a Grade 2 success at Haydock most recently, while Minella Rescue and the unexposed Kiss Will are other notable contenders in a strong renewal.
