Formscan By Gary Carson - THE MODEL KINGDOM comes here a fresh filly having last been seen winning a strong listed contest at Navan in November. She beat a good field that day and was value for more than her winning distance after idling a bit when hitting the front. The third then Battling Bessie re-opposes and she has shown up well since, particularly when narrowly losing out to another of today's rivals, Lily Du Berlais, in a cracking finish to the Grade 2 mares contest at the Dublin Racing festival. Stuart Crawford's charge prevailed in a fantastic five-way finish that day and had a few of today's rivals behind, including Pink In The Park and Nikini. The Willie Mullins pair were placed behind Dorans Weir in a listed contest at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Michael Hourigan's mare looks another big player in a very competitive heat.
