Formscan - BRIONI shaped well on his debut when third at Sandown and stepped forward from that display to finish runner-up over C&D. Alan King's colt arguably sets the standard on that form and appeals as the type to have progressed over the winter. Jayyash doesn't look anywhere near the finished article based on his two runs to date, but the extra furlong is likely to bring him into the reckoning. Great Chieftain is entitled to improve from his recent third at Wolverhampton, when making his first appearance since November.
