Formscan By Donal Murphy - This looks a tricky contest and the only one that can be ruled out is Manor Court. AWAY WE GO makes most appeal to me, with the conditions of this race suiting him well. The Willie Mullins trained gelding was far from disgraced in the Irish National in April, and he again put in a decent performance in another handicap at the Punchestown Festival last month. He has plenty of experience over fences in comparison to some of his rivals and this should stand to him. The ground and the trip won't be of concern and the eleven-year-old gelding can be expected to give a good account of himself here. Lambro ran a nice race at Killarney on his last start and the former Willie Mullins trained gelding is given second preference. Noble Prince can be expected to run well while the same can be said for Pageboy. The market should be watched in regards to the chances of Baresi, while Cailin Annamh is taking a step up in class here and she may struggle against the boys.
