Formscan By Donal Murphy - STAR POWER ran a fine race on his hurdling debut over the course last month, and while it probably wasn't the strongest race he can be expected to go close here taking a step back in trip to two and a half miles. Formerly trained on the level by Jim Bolger, and still owned by his wife Jackie, the son of Galileo might find this trip more to his liking, and considering he won on good to firm at Wexford last July the quick ground here shouldn't be a problem. Cape Glory looks his biggest danger, and the Gordon Elliott trained four-year-old is given second preference. He is in receipt of eight pound from the selection on account of his age, and it will be interesting to see how he gets on stepping up in trip to this distance for the first time. Morney Wing for Dessie Hughes and Grand Partner for Tom Mullins are two with solid claims, while the Tony Martin trained duo of Noble King and Whatsforuwontgobyu also warrant respect. Equity Swap was very disappointing for Willie Mullins and it will be interesting to see how he gets on now on his first start for Henry De Bromhead.
