Formscan By Alan Magee - BEECHWOOD won a Killarney maiden last year for John O’Donoghue and only just missed out on being Listed placed in the 1m4f Noblesse Stakes at Cork this spring. She probably found a mile a bit short when no match for the odds-on Galen on her first start for Paddy Twomey last time at Killarney. Three-year-olds have a good record in this handicap and Shavasi has progressed with each run winning a Killarney maiden over a mile last time. She finished strongly on that occasion and her dam was successful over a mile and a half. La Dame Blanche has won twice over longer trips this year, while No Niki No likes to be up with the pace and was only headed in the closing stages over course and distance on soft ground here in May.
