Formscan By Mark Nunan - SAXON LAND was third in a 7f maiden on last year’s debut at Down Royal and the two who finished in front of her on that occasion are now rated 85 and 73, so Ciaran Murphy's filly seems to be on a nice mark for this handicap debut. She is taking a marked step up in trip but may have a class edge over race-fit rivals. Butter Fingers, whose trainer's horses were in outstanding form at Galway, won a maiden hurdle by a street at Tipperary last month having shown promise on the Flat in two handicap outings in May.
