The Veterinary Officer reported that Masters Apprentice (IRE), trained by Sylvester Kirk, had arrived on course without the required Health Declaration Form.
The trainer's representative and the Veterinary Officer were interviewed.
The gelding was withdrawn by the Stewards.
Approximately 1 furlong after the start, Wynfaul The Wizard (USA), unplaced, shifted marginally right- handed taking Enmeshing (GB), unplaced, off its intended line and causing it to make brief contact with Cracker Factory (GB), unplaced.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Inside the final furlong the winner, Music Major (GB), edged left-handed leaving Presence Process (GB), unplaced, short off room and causing it to switch left-handed and as a consequence it took Famous Dynasty (IRE), placed dead-heat fourth, off its intended line which in turn took Enmeshing (GB), unplaced off its intended line.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Music Major (GB).
Following the race, David Probert reported that Cracker Factory (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, suffered interference after the start.
