Coleman saddles first winner over jumps
He was due that. Calum gave him a good ride and saved him,. His experience helped against the four-year-olds. Around here, when you are in front and you are jumping well, it's hard to get around them. I think the last time I was here was 2010. I got on a bit better today than I did then! It's a different capacity this time.
Cooper's mare gives Kerry a winner at Kilbeggan
She was fifty days off before she ran in Killarney last week, and I'd say she was just too fresh and keen, and that was a very strong mares' maiden for this time of year. Previous to that, she had spat it out lovely when she was second at Tramore. We just dropped her back in trip and left her roll away today, and she was a different mare. It was a bit of a worry going back so soon, but it worked out anyway.
Iggy gets a winner just before race week at Galway
Facile first success for O'Grady Cracker
In For The Night wins on second start for O'Dwyer
I haven't got him all that long. We ran him for the first time since Dessie (McDonogh) retired in Clonmel, and he ran well. I was a little worried about the ground tonight, I thought it might be a little quick, but all the lads said it was good and safe with a nice bit of juice in it. He handled it well. He got a great run around and jumped super. He's sweeter than he was a while ago. He's really travelling there nicely and doing everything well. Nice one to look forward to.
Rusty Harkness makes the breakthrough under O'Keeffe
Meade's Golden winner for Mayo connections
He's a nice little fun horse, and he's after winning three or four for Albert (Dravins),. He's a summer horse that wants fast ground. Hopefully if he gets in next week (Galway), he'll run again. He might run over hurdles on Wednesday, or maybe a chase at the end of the week. I'd say it's more likely he'll run in a hurdle race.
Doubles for the O'Dwyers and JP as Luimneach scores over fences
He came from Dessie McDonogh's with the other lad (earlier winner in For The Night), . He's so big, he nearly gets away with it. He travelled like the other lad as well, very sweet. I was happy throughout the race. It was an easy watch. He tends, then, to kinda think about things when he gets to the front. He stuck at it there and got the job done, so it's brilliant.
