An enquiry was held to consider why David O'Meara, was running City Vaults (GB) here at Haydock on going described as Good to Firm, having declared the colt a non-runner at the same racecourse on 2 September 2021 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that having walked the track on both occasions, in his opinion, the ground on this occasion was riding easier than described and so he was therefore happy for the colt to take its chance.
