Kool One off the mark over hurdles at Wexford
On paper he was entitled to win it, but he still had to go and do it. He had a good look at the second last and even the last when he was in front, but he done it nicely enough. We thought he was off a nice mark and he grew a lot during the summer. We let him off after Fairyhouse (in April) and just took our time with him. Galway didn't really work out, the draw killed us, but we fancied him at Roscommon where he made hard work of it, but won anyway. He was fit and well in himself coming here today, so it was nice to see him go and do that. He chased home some good ones over the winter. The Lartigue has been on the cards for a long time, it's sometime we picked out after Cheltenham. It's all systems go for that. I don't know if the handicapper will touch him after today, but he'll probably be still off a nice mark. The Lartigue is a nice race to go for and hopefully he will step up again and be competitive in it.

She deserved that, she's consistent. On ratings she was well entitled to win it, but I didn't think she was running to her rating to be honest. I thought 100 was a good bit too high for her. The 7lb off her back was a great help. She is a difficult ride and I think the run on Monday probably just took the freshness out of her. She was easier to handle today and got the job done thank God. The full three miles, she'd want all of that and she'd probably stay further too. Her next run will be a minimum of three miles anyway. She'll probably go for a handicap or if there was a mares' novice somewhere she'd go there. She'll jump a fence as well. She came from the Doyle's and Mark Hatton, who is a friend of Eamonn Doyle, owns her. I think it's his first horse and it's his first time to see her run so he picked a good day.

That was good, I thought we were just after getting nabbed like at Punchestown. He is a grand horse and if I had known about the fences coming out earlier I probably would have loaded him up and went home. He is dynamite to jump, jumping is his game. I sold him to the boys a few years ago and he is after winning over hurdles and fences. We can go back over hurdles with him or keep him over fences. We gave him a little break after Punchestown. He was probably a bit unfit at Galway and probably needed the run, but it set him up for today. It's all roads to Listowel now. He has options there and Liam doesn't want us to run him on the last day because I think he is suspended for that! . We've always liked him, he is a fine big horse, a fine big chaser. He has plenty of ability.
Hit The Frame off the mark under Flanagan
He deserved that. He ran a cracker in Roscommon and ran a good race the last day where we probably didn't make enough use of him. I said to Sean today to just use his jumping and his jumping won it for him. I was very worried half an hour ago when the fences were taken out of the previous race, that wouldn't of suited us at all, but thankfully they came back in. Liam Quinlan gave him a great ride in Roscommon and that was his first sort of good run. He tried to make all that day too. He is just a very, very good jumper when he gets into that rhythm. I was watching the races and there was horses behind making lots of mistakes, he just puts them under pressure. I ran him today after last week because there is not another race for him for about another five weeks, a three-mile plus race. We just said we'd chance running him and see what happens and thankfully it worked out. The owners are local to me in Tramore and there is a couple of Portlaw men involved too.
