THE LSL RACING HORSE SALES SYNDICATION LEASING MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for Quisana (IRE) to go early to the start.
Leaving the stalls, Watercraft (IRE), unplaced, jumped slight left-handed at the same time as Food For Thought (GB), placed fourth, jumped marginally right-handed causing Diane Chasseresse (GB), placed fifth, to be crowded for room.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Food For Thought (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference passing the 6-furlong marker, involving Food For Thought (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Rossa Ryan and Watercraft (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Faleh Bughenaim.
Ryan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear of Watercraft (IRE) causing Bughenaim to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Food For Thought (GB), placed fourth, ran too free.
