The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter in this race and were satisfied that Fortis Et Liber broke into a canter despite the riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy rider of Euro Agent, concerning his second approach to the starter to ascertain why he had shouted "no" which caused a false start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that after the first false start he lost his position when another runner turned in front of him and he alerted the Starter by shouting "no". Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards advised J
Kennedy that calling out to the starter is reserved for riders in difficulty and not for any other reason and asked him to be mindful of this in future
