Permission was given for Luckofthedraw (FR) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries and to go to post early.
Richard Spencer was cautioned as Peejaybee (FR) had arrived in the Parade Ring wearing an undeclared hood.
At the first fence, Peejaybee (FR), which fell later in the race, jumped right causing Chinwag (GB), which was later pulled up, to be moved sharply right, severely inconveniencing Sirwilliamwallace, which was pulled up shortly after.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
On jumping the fifth fence, Clan Legend (GB), which was pulled up later in the race, was slightly hampered by the fall of Peejaybee (FR).
The Stewards noted that on several occasions in the back straight, the winner Easy As That (IRE) was hampered by the loose Peejaybee (FR) jumping right-handed.
Following the race, Ryan Mania reported that he pulled up Sirwilliamwallace as he felt the gelding had lost its action after being jumped into at the first fence.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
