One furlong out, Cieren Fallon, the rider of Silver Lake (GB), placed third, misplaced his whip, and in retrieving it had to stop riding for a few strides.
After viewing a recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that Silver Lake (GB) had obtained the best possible placing and therefore no further action was taken.
Following the race, Jack Callan reported that Lightkiss (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and Joe Leavy reported that Sapphire Secret (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed under pressure.
