Joe Fanning reported that Asdaa (IRE), unplaced, stumbled leaving the stalls and he was therefore unable to get a prominent position as intended, adding that he also took a precautionary check on the run to the line as he was concerned about running onto the heels of Gabrial The Saint (IRE), placed fourth, which was edging left on the approach to the bend shortly after the winning line.
