An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out when Power Of States (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Doyle, interfered with Bell Heather (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Megan Nicholls.
Doyle was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had angled right-handed for a run, causing Nicholls to take a check for several strides.
Following the race, James Doyle reported that Power Of States (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
Richard Kingscote reported that the bit slipped through the mouth of Mr Jones And Me (GB), unplaced, mid-race and the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding lost its left-hind shoe.
