The Raceday Stewards requested a report from P. Twomey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Deressa, placed first, as compared with its recent run when finishing 19th of 20 runners at the Curragh on the 23rd of May. P Twomey stated that the application of a tounge strap, slower ground and a step up in trip brought about the improvement . Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content
