Permission was given for Gustav Graves (GB) to go early, wear a red hood to post and be mounted in the chute.
Basholo (IRE), drawn 6, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Spendmore Lane (GB) which bolted to post and overshot the start before being withdrawn after doing a circuit of the course.
David Loughnane was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the filly had behaved identically before being withdrawn at Wolverhampton on 4 October 2025, Loughnane was informed that any future similar behaviour from Spendmore Lane (GB) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately three furlongs out involving, SAM’S XPRESS (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Dylan Hogan and So Smart (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Tyler Heard.
The interference was found to be accidental as the free-running SAM’S XPRESS (IRE) had leant left-handed momentarily going into the bend, before being corrected by Hogan which resulted in So Smart (IRE) becoming unbalanced when briefly tightened for racing room.
Following the race, Dylan Hogan reported that Sam's Xpress (IRE), placed fifth, ran too free.
