Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Shortly after turning in, Kilteel (GB), unplaced, went for a run to the inside of a weakening Tiana Rose (GB), unplaced, which shifted marginally left-handed moving Kilteel (GB) onto Ardilly Breeze (GB), unplaced, which was briefly eased as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving the winner, I Follow Rivers (GB), ridden by George Wood, Hype Merchant (IRE), placed third, ridden by Laura Pearson and California Fling (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
The interference was found to be accidental as I Follow Rivers (GB) had edged slightly left-handed at the same time as California Fling (IRE) became unbalanced, having made slight contact with Hype Merchant (IRE), causing the rider of California Fling (IRE) to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Callum Rodriguez reported that Kilteel (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
Warren Fentiman reported that Sharon Curly (IRE), placed fifth, hung left-handed.
