Permission was given for Master Zack (GB) to go early to post and for HAVANA’S DREAM to wear a red hood to the start.
Dr Richard Newland was cautioned as Hidden Verse (IRE) had arrived in the Parade Ring with undeclared cheekpieces which were removed from the gelding before going down to the start.
Leaving the stalls, Sarabi (GB), unplaced, jumped sharply left-handed hampering Master Zack (GB), placed third, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out when the winner, Hidden Verse (IRE), ridden by Gina Mangan, interfered with Bluesy Moon (GB), placed second, ridden by Oliver Searle.
Mangan was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear causing Searle to have to pause in his riding for a couple of strides.
Following the race, Oliver Searle reported that Bluesy Moon (GB), placed second, suffered interference approximately 1 furlong out.
