At the one furlong marker the winner, Savrola (IRE) edged left-handed as it was passing Snapcracklepop (GB), placed fourth, causing Snapcracklepop (GB) to be momentarily checked.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Savrola (IRE).
Following the race Kevin Stott reported that Dion Baker (IRE), placed third, hung both ways.
