The winner, Ooh Betty (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Taunton on 11 December 2025, where the mare finished tenth of eleven runners, beaten 22 ¼ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Ben Clarke could offer no explanation for the mare’s improved form other than she may have come to hand on this occasion.
