THE CHELMSFORD MILE SERIES QUALIFIER HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) (Chelmsford Mile Series Qualifier) Permission was given for Kessaar Power (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Fast Bullet (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Southwell on 22 January 2026, where the filly finished fifth of ten runners, beaten 8 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Ismail Mohammed could offer no explanation for the filly's improvement in form, other than that Fast Bullet (GB) had benefitted from the short break of 30 days.
Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that Kessaar Power (IRE), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
