Leaving the stalls, Supreme Dancer (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed, causing Far Too Fizzy (GB), placed fifth, to be crowded for room which in-turn briefly inconvenienced King Victorious (IRE), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving King Victorious (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jack Callan, Madman (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Rossa Ryan, Supreme Dancer (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Ethan Tindall, Far Too Fizzy (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Laura Pearson and Havana Song (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cam Hardie.
Being a 7lb claimer, Tindall was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior jockey.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Madman (GB) had hung left-handed despite Ryan's concerted effort to straighten the gelding, moving the free- running Havana Song (IRE) off its intended line, causing Supreme Dancer (IRE) to be hampered when tightened for room and in turn shift left-handed, which crowded Far Too Fizzy (GB) onto King Victorious (IRE), which was buffeted for room against the running rail.
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that Far Too Fizzy (GB), placed fifth, suffered interference in running, Rossa Ryan reported that Madman (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed under pressure and Cam Hardie reported that Havana Song (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
