Permission was given for Maebh (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why Maebh (IRE) trained by Seamus Mullins, arrived at the start not wearing the declared cheek pieces and therefore had to be withdrawn.
Mullins' stated that Maebh (IRE) wore a hood in the parade ring and he had forgotten to put the cheekpieces on underneath it.
They fined him £140.
The White Mouse (IRE), ridden by Leighton Aspell, fell at the end of the back straight, bringing down Etamine Du Cochet (FR), ridden by Harry Skelton.
Leighton Aspell, Harry Skelton, and Noel Fehily, the rider of Outofthisworld (IRE), were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that the incident was accidental and was caused by The White Mouse (IRE) clipping the heels of Outofthisworld (IRE), and falling, which caused Etamine Du Cochet (FR) to be brought down.
Following the race Ciaran Gethings reported that A Little Chaos (IRE), placed sixth, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that So Lonely (IRE), which was pulled up, had bled from the nose and Sweet Adare (IRE) placed eighth, lost its left hind shoe.
