After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Inside the final furlong, Chan Noir (GB), unplaced, lugged left-handed at the same time as On Golden Pond (IRE), placed fourth drifted right-handed causing One Shot Kodi (IRE), unplaced, to be short of room and checked.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line, involving the winner, Asander (GB), ridden by Billy Garritty; Mollisha (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ben Robinson and On Golden Pond (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by David Nolan.
Garritty was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without timely correction, moving Mollisha (IRE) off its intended line onto On Golden Pond (IRE), resulting in both Robinson and Nolan having to take a check when short of room.
