The Raceday Assistant reported that Costa Adeje (IRE), trained by Tom Dascombe and ridden by Liam Jones, was late to leave the parade ring and caused a delay to the race after arriving late at the start.
Jones, Dascombe and the Raceday Assistant were interviewed.
Dascombe was fined £140 as he instructed the rider to wait for the colt to take another circuit of the parade ring before mounting.
Liam Jones, the rider of Costa Adeje (IRE), placed third, was suspended for 4 days for using his whip above the permitted level from just outside the final furlong marker.
Following the race, Royston Ffrench reported that Natty Meddler (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away, Liam Jones reported that Costa Adeje (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed and David Allan reported that Mytilda (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed.
