The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Street Party, trained by Mrs Julie Cashin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. The Stewards attempted to enquire into the running and riding of Street Party, ridden by M.J. Ferris, and trained by Mrs Julie Cashin. Mr John Cashin, husband of the trainer, informed the Stewards that he was acting on behalf of the trainer who was unable to attend today's meeting. He further informed the Stewards that he did not have an annual authority to act on behalf of the trainer, nor did he have a daily authorised representative form lodged at the scales as he was required to do so. The Stewards therefore referred the matter to the Referrals Committee under the provisions of Rule 147 (v).
