Shortly after leaving the stalls, Belgravian (IRE), placed fourth, edged slightly left-handed making contact with Arboreous (IRE), unplaced, resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced after bumping on a number of occasions, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Belgravian (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend, involving Belgravian (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Watson and the winner, Quebella (GB), ridden by Finley Marsh.
Watson was cautioned for careless riding as he shifted slightly left-handed and failed to leave sufficient room to his inside for Quebella (GB), causing Marsh to take a brief check.
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Rose Warrior (GB), unplaced, ran green and Trevor Whelan reported that Wine Dark Sea (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
