An enquiry was held to consider two instances of interference, the first taking place just inside the two- furlong marker, and the second just inside the final furlong marker, both involving the winner, Giavellotto (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy, and Kalpana (GB), placed second, ridden by Colin Keane.
The interference was found to be accidental as despite Murphy’s best efforts, on both occasions his mount lugged left-handed.
