THE SMOOTH RADIO LADIES' DAY 4TH JULY BOOK NOW HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out, involving Fiscal Policy (IRE), placed second, ridden by James Sullivan, Emperor Caradoc (FR), placed third, ridden by David Nolan, This Farh (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Rowan Scott, and Dark Side Thunder (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Oliver Stammers.
Sullivan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient corrective action, causing This Farh (GB) to be moved off its intended line and the rider have to take a check, resulting in Dark Side Thunder (GB) becoming short of room and the rider take a check, and Emperor Caradoc (FR) to receive contact and become unbalanced.
Following the race, David Nolan reported that Emperor Caradoc (FR), placed third, hung right- handed.
