The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lockeen Girl, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race
D.J. Mullins, rider of Lockeen Girl trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tired quickly and was pulled up thereafter. He subsequent reported that the animal was found to have burst a blood vessel following endoscopic examination by the Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon.
