An enquiry was held to consider interference in the final furlong, involving Sergeant Mayer (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Faye McManoman, Thankuappreciate (GB), placed second, ridden by Zak Wheatley, Without Flaw (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Warren Fentiman, Herakles (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan, and South Shore (GB), placed fifth, ridden by James Sullivan.
McManoman was suspended for 8 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to shift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing Fentiman to have to take a significant check, which in turn badly hampered and caused Herakles (IRE) to be checked, which in turn gave a bump to South Shore (GB).
Following the race, Zak Wheatley reported that Thankuappreciate (GB), placed second, was slowly away.
Paul Mulrennan reported that Herakles (IRE), unplaced, was restless in the stalls, ran too free and then suffered interference 1 furlong out.
Sam Fielden reported that One More Dream (GB), unplaced, was briefly denied a clear run 1 furlong out.
James Sullivan reported that South Shore (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run on several occasions from 2 furlongs out.
Warren Fentiman reported that Without Flaw (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference inside the final ½ furlong.
