S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Eaton Lady trained by Miss Kate McGivern, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered at the final hurdle
The Stewards reviewed an incident at the final hurdle involving Eaton Lady, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, unplaced and Alterno, ridden by E. Walsh, placed fourth, where it appeared that Alterno jumped awkwardly and impeded Eaton Lady who collided with the running rail. Having reviewed the recording of that part of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted.
