The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing of Croachill (IRE), failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Leaving the stalls, The Trader (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed moving Highwaygrey (GB), placed third, onto Croeso Cymraeg (GB), unplaced, which received a hefty bump but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
Following the race, Sean Kirrane reported that Highwaygrey (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run for some distance from 2 furlongs out until passing the 1 furlong marker.
