Oliver Greenall explained that the gelding appeared to appreciate returning to a sounder surface, officially described as Good to Soft, Soft in places on this occasion.
His explanation was noted and Aboutdamntime (IRE) was routine tested.

The representative of Evan Williams could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
The Veterinary Officer examined Minella Blueway (IRE) post-race and had nothing to report.
